Bay Area cyclist accused of injuring child in hit-and-run – The Mercury News

Novato police arrested a man who allegedly injured a child with his bicycle and then fled.

The incident occurred near the corner of Grant Avenue and Second Street around 9:50 p.m. Friday. Police Lt. Sophia Winter said the 8-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
