He traveled to the country to see One Direction co-star Niall Horan on tour after joking with fans that he wanted to “work some things out” with his former bandmate.

While he was out there, he extended his stay and during the trip Liam shared videos of himself dancing to Niall’s music with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy at the Movistar Arena.

He also posted a photo with Niall and wrote “Reunited” over it.

After a two-week absence, 25-year-old American actress Kate announced that she was ready to leave and decided to head home on October 14th.

She explained on TikTok: “Honestly, I love South America, but I hate staying in one place for too long. And we were supposed to be there for five days, but that turned into two weeks.”

“I just thought, ‘I have to go home’.”

She added: “I was so happy to be home. It was such a relief.”

Glamorous Kate was seen in the final photo Liam shared on social media just minutes before his death.

He appeared topless as they settled in for a mirror selfie.

After she left, Liam spent the evenings posting on social media and, incredibly, contributing live to sick children’s GoFundMe accounts on social media.

He also took photos with fans outside his hotel, and one photo – reportedly his last – showed him returning to his CasaSur hotel room in the Palermo district.

On the day of Liam’s death, a frantic 911 call from a staff member at the Casa Sur hotel revealed he had been behaving “erratically” and witnesses claimed he had to be carried back to his room after his laptop was smashed.

In the call, the employee said: “Hello, good day, I’m calling from the CasaSur Hotel in Palermo.”

“We have a guest who went crazy on drugs and alcohol and now destroys everything in the room when he is conscious.

“And you need to send someone, please.”

The images appeared to show white powder and burnt aluminum foil.

The father-of-one told fans about the trip in a video on Snapchat, after which fans asked him if he was “OK.”

He began rambling about how he and his friend “needed to talk” and speculated about a feud within the band.

The Snapchat was shared not long after Liam’s friends told The Sun they feared he was getting “out of control”.

A source said: “Liam’s behavior has been a concern for many in his inner circle for months.

“For a while things seemed to be looking up for him, but over the last year there have been fears that he is getting worse.

Maya, 23, dated Liam for three years before they split in 2022.

In a podcast interview two days ago, she said her ex contacted her in worrying phone calls and created fake accounts to contact her.

Speaking on The Internet is Dead podcast, she said: “I tried to get him help once, but he wouldn’t accept it.”

She added: “After we broke up he would always text me saying ‘I’m not feeling well’.”
