According to police, Upper Darby police are investigating after a police officer crashed on a motorcycle Thursday morning.

Because of the incident, Garrett Road near Owen Avenue was closed to traffic starting about 7:40 a.m., officials said.

According to police, an officer on a motorcycle was involved in an accident. However, police officials have not said whether the officer was injured or whether others were involved in the incident.
