A man is killed in a knife attack near the intersection of 9th Street and Odgen

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A stabbing between neighbors broke out Tuesday evening in connection with an argument near the intersection of North 9th Street and Ogden.

The stabbing occurred in a residential building around 10:18 p.m.

The stabbing occurred between two people. The suspect was identified as 76-year-old Ulysses Grant. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon.

The victim was a man in his 60s and suffered multiple stab wounds.

Medical personnel responded and determined the victim was dead at the scene.

Officers were able to take the suspect into custody without incident.

Officials are unsure what the argument was about.
