The Devils scare off the green terror in the nip and tuck match

CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson women’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to three on Wednesday night by holding off a valiant effort from visiting McDaniel College Green Terror to post a 3-0 conference win at the Kline Center.

  • Things started well for the home team with aces Alexa Barowski And Grace Coccagna along with a kill for Amelia Kim it was 5:1.
  • Four different members of the Green Terror recorded kills during a 10-3 game and shot to an 11-8 lead.
  • Points from the hands of Emery Fishbach, Eliette WhittakerBarowski and Kim helped DC keep the lead at just three at 16-13.
  • A kill for Jessica Currie He then started a string of nine straight games for the Devils Mallie ThomasBarowski and Whittaker joined in the fun and took a 22-16 lead.
  • McDaniel couldn’t break through despite launching a 6-1 attack to get within one point (23-22) before a Whittaker kill and an Angalyn Strouse miss gave DC a 25-22 win.
