Prostitute is fatally strangled and then sexually assaulted at a Las Vegas casino by a man who says he was “snatched.”

A prostitute was strangled and sexually assaulted before being left to die in a Las Vegas hotel. Police say the suspect confessed that he “snapped.”

According to 8NewsNow, Larissa Garcia died on June 21, more than a week after she was found in a hotel room at the Palms Casino Resort. She worked as an escort in the area under the names “Andrea” and “Dallas”.

According to the report, 35-year-old Jason Kendall turned himself in to police last week in connection with her murder, sexual assault and assault.

On June 12, Kendall called police and said a woman had overdosed in the hotel room, according to police records obtained by the outlet.

Hotel security rushed to the room and found Garica lying on the floor with her jaw cut open.

She was taken to the hospital where doctors determined there was no alcohol or drugs in her system, according to the report. This led doctors to suspect that she was the victim of an assault.

Six days after the attack, a nurse determined that Garcia had been strangled and “possibly suffocated.” Garcia died on June 21 after doctors declared her brain dead.

Video surveillance showed Kendall meeting Garcia in the lobby of the casino. According to the report, he was seen leaving the room an hour later with no other people entering or leaving.

Investigators also found messages between Kendall and the victim. Kendall’s search history also showed that he had viewed her online advertisements.

Police met with Kendall and he asked for a lawyer. According to the report, officers discovered he had injuries to his back and shoulder.

Last week, Kendall went to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to turn himself in, the report said. There he confessed to paying Garcia $2,000 before strangling and attacking her.

“Jason said Larissa demanded additional payment and ‘freaked out,'” police records state. “He punched her in the face, choked her for ten minutes and then had sex with her.” After having sex with Larissa, Jason wrote that he “pushed her away from the door and left.” After leaving the hotel, he called the police to report an overdose.”

Friends told 8NewsNow that Garcia is a mother of two and goes to school. Kendall is an Army veteran – although it is unclear when he served and whether he was deployed.

Kendall is being held without bail ahead of his next court date, scheduled for July 2.
