The singer died on Wednesday at the age of 31 after reportedly falling from his third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Following the tragic news, Anne shared her reaction on Instagram, posting a broken heart emoji and the words “Just a boy…”

While Anne has publicly expressed her grief, her son Harry Styles and other former One Direction members Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have yet to comment.

Meanwhile, numerous celebrities have paid tribute to Liam on social media as fans reflect on his musical legacy.
According to the latest reports, while the cause of death will not be confirmed until an autopsy is performed, authorities believe Liam died from a “skull base fracture” after falling from 12 to 45 feet.

In the period leading up to Liam’s death, police were reportedly called to reports of “an aggressive male who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol” at the hotel.

The investigation into his death is ongoing.
