HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah, Oct. 17, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — An Endangered Children Advisory has been issued for a missing 7-year-old Utah girl.

The notice issued at 11:38 p.m. Wednesday by the Utah Department of Public Safety’s Crime Information Center said the missing child, identified as 7-year-old Mia Neves, was “not returned” after a visit with her father.

“At approximately 8:26 p.m., Mandy Mendelkow (mother) notified Hill AFB that her daughter had not been returned following her father’s visit. According to the court order, she has sole custody of the minor,” the statement said.

Mia is described as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes.

Her last known item of clothing was a white tennis skirt and a pink tank top with a butterfly cutout at the neckline. She also wore a black and rainbow tie-dye hoodie with a peace sign and the word “justice” printed on it.

The child’s last known location was Hill AFB, the DPS-CIC advisory states.

Mia is believed to be with her father, identified as Jesse Neves, a white man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair.

Mr. Neves drives a silver Mitsubishi Lancer with Utah license plate G991NK.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the child and father should call 911.

Gephardt Daily will update this developing story as more information becomes available.
