According to authorities, a man was arrested for indecent assault

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The Webb County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) has arrested a man for an indecent assault reported by a female victim in the Los Centenarios Subdivision.

SVU investigated the report and when it was completed, the case was presented to the Webb County District Attorney’s Office.

The office said there was enough evidence to file criminal charges against the suspect.

Judge Roberto Quintana issued an arrest warrant for indecent assault, a Class A misdemeanor with a $5,000 bond.

Jose Angel Martinez was arrested on the warrant and is currently in the Webb County Jail.

In a statement, Sheriff Martin Cuellar thanked the detectives who conducted the investigation.
