Pike County pastor arrested on 100 counts of child sexual abuse material

An investigation by the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Delight, AR pastor on 100 counts of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

On Monday, October 14, an arrest warrant was obtained for 43-year-old James Vincent Henry, pastor of Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Delight.

Special agents with the ASP ICAC Task Force executed a search warrant in Delight on Wednesday, September 25, after receiving cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They say information from social media/messaging apps Snapchat and Kik sparked the search.

Henry was arrested by Pike County Sheriff’s deputies on October 15 around 8 p.m. Henry is charged with 100 counts of possession, viewing and distribution of child pornography.

He was transported to the Pike County Detention Center where he remains in custody.
