Pike County pastor arrested on 100 counts of child sexual abuse material

PIKE COUNTY (KATV) – An investigation by the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Delight, AR pastor on 100 counts of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

On Monday, October 14, an arrest warrant was obtained for 43-year-old James Vincent Henry, pastor of Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Delight.

Special agents with the ASP ICAC Task Force executed a search warrant in Delight on Wednesday, September 25, after receiving cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They say information from social media/messaging apps Snapchat and Kik sparked the search.

Henry was arrested by Pike County Sheriff’s deputies on October 15 around 8 p.m. Henry is charged with 100 counts of possession, viewing and distribution of child pornography.

He was transported to the Pike County Detention Center where he remains in custody.
