Overland Park man charged with multiple sex crimes against children

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – An Overland Park man was arrested Wednesday and charged with multiple child sex crimes.

Court documents in Johnson County, Kansas, show that 49-year-old Jason Henry Reskin was arrested by Johnson County Sheriff’s Office officers the day after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Reskin was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center on Wednesday afternoon. He is charged with ten felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

Court documents cite complaints by Reskin from August 23, 2023 to October 4, 2023, in which he attempted to produce or possess child pornography.

Reskin is being held on a $100,000 bond. Court documents do not yet indicate a time frame for his first court appearance.
