Person dead after being struck by a vehicle on the Katy Freeway in west Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are responding to a fatal crash in which a person was struck by a vehicle on the Katy Freeway.

The fatal crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway near Wilcrest Drive.

The eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway are closed while police investigate.
