Where was “Lonely Planet” filmed? The filming locations of the Netflix romantic drama are explained

This is where the couple really started to develop feelings for each other. Given the beauty that surrounded them in this city, it’s no surprise that the actors found such natural chemistry.

Marrakesh was another important Moroccan location in Lonely Planet

Lonely planet was primarily filmed in Morocco, which included a number of cities and other locations. One of the most prominent filming locations, alongside Chefchaouen, was Marrakesh. Los Angeles served as the filming location for certain scenes

Although almost everyone is filming Lonely planet happened in Morocco, Part of the film was shot in Los Angeles, California. At the end of the film, after Katherine and Owen went their separate ways in Morocco, they met in a New York bar. Ultimately the decision to film Lonely planet especially on location contributed to the authenticity and beauty of the film.

Lonely Planet follows the interconnected lives of several people as they navigate personal struggles and search for meaning in a contemporary urban setting. The film explores themes of isolation and connection in a rapidly changing world.
