Where will they move if the Duke Center closes?

Where will they move if the Duke Center closes?

The Duke Energy Convention Center is under construction, forcing popular events in 2024 and 2025 to be postponed or rescheduled.

Construction began in July on the $240 million renovation project, which includes transforming the exterior of the building with an extended glass facade and modernizing and expanding the interior exhibition, meeting and ballroom spaces.

The building technology in the 55-year-old convention center on the corner of Fifth Street and Elm Street downtown, directly next to the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, is also being extensively modernized.

According to the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC), which is leading the redevelopment of the convention center district, which will include a new convention center hotel and pedestrian mall, the convention center will remain closed until January 2026.
