Nick Jonas stormed off the stage at the Jonas Brothers concert in Prague due to safety fears

The scare caused the show to pause for ten minutes until Jonas and his brothers safely returned to the stage.

“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the individual’s use of a banned laser pointer,” an O2 spokesman said Weekly entertainment.

“The organization service reacted immediately to this circumstance. After a few minutes the band continued their performance and went back on stage.”

Fans flooded the comments section of the video, calling the incident “scary” as many criticized the fan’s behavior.

“Shine a laser on him is crazy,” one wrote.

“People shouldn’t use lasers at concerts. This is wrong,” said another.

“He handled the laser danger like a pro, but artists shouldn’t have to deal with that,” a third added.

“This is scary for artists, fans go overboard sometimes,” wrote a fourth.

“This is scary as hell,” wrote another.

There have been a number of incidents at concerts in recent years where revelers have thrown objects at performers.

In November last year, Taylor Swift paused her Eras tour in Argentina to ask fans to stop engaging in the out-of-control mass trend.

While she played the piano, the US pop star politely asked concertgoers not to throw objects at her on stage.

“Because communication is about having gentle, healthy boundaries, it really scares me when things are thrown on stage,” Swift said.

“Because when it’s on stage, a dancer can trip over it… And I think it’s great that you brought gifts. And that’s so nice, but can you please not throw them on stage? I love you so much.”

Swift’s appeal came a few months after US singer Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a phone during her show in New York in June 2023, leaving the star with an eye injury that required stitches.

A month later, British superstar Harry Styles was hit in the face while performing in Vienna, Austria.

In some more disturbing cases, Lil Nas X was hit by a sex toy during his July show in Sweden.

“Who threw the pussy on stage?” said the rapper at the time.

Elsewhere, Pink was mortified after a fan threw a bag containing her mother’s ashes onto the stage during the rock star’s London concert last June.
