A Bristol Township man is expected to face additional charges after he was arrested last month for drugging and sexually assaulting several women he met through a dating website, according to law enforcement officials.

Andrew Gallo, 40, of the Levittown section of Bristol Township, was originally charged with multiple felonies, including five counts of rape by impairment and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, officials said. He was taken into custody by detectives from Bucks County and the Bristol Township Police Department.

District Judge Terry Hughes set Gallo’s bail at 10 percent of $5 million and banned him from contacting the women listed as victims or women he met on dating apps. Gallo remained in custody as of this week.

Sources said the expected new charges come as more victims have come forward since Gallo’s arrest.

No new charges had been filed as of this week, and NBC 10 first broke the news of the expected new charges.

Investigators had expected more victims to come forward as news of Gallo’s arrest made headlines. The story made national headlines after it was first published LevittownNow.com and other local outlets.

Gallo reportedly used usernames like “DREWSTER420” and “KAE” on Sugardaddymeet.com, a website that promotes itself as a platform for building “honest relationships.”

Authorities said Gallo invited women ages 17 to 30 to his home after connecting online. He supposedly bragged about his drink-making skills, but the encounters became worrying.

The women in the initial indictments were from the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas.

Several of the women reported feeling unusual after consuming the drinks prepared by Gallo. Some described a lack of control and unwanted side effects such as prolonged alertness, hallucinations and psychosis, authorities said.

During a search of Gallo’s home, investigators said they discovered a bottle of Casamigos tequila that tested positive for methamphetamine.

During a press conference in September, District Attorney Jennifer Schorn praised the victims for their courage.

“They have come forward to report crimes that criminals like this frankly believe the victims will not have the strength to do, and I commend them for their strength and courage,” she said.

The detective has asked any additional women who believe they were victims to contact Bristol Township Police Department Detective Emilyann Maialetti at 215-812-3024 or Bucks County Detectives at 215-348-6354. More information and tips can be submitted at bucksda.org or by email [email protected].

Gallo’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Editor’s note: All persons arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The story was compiled using information from police and court documents.
