According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO), on October 5th at 6:51 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call at a youth travel football game at Henderson Stadium. BSO said the game turned violent after “aggressive social media posts” between the teams.

The groups were separated by security and asked to leave the field, but BSO said a second altercation occurred involving players, parents, coaches and cheerleaders.

That’s when a youth coach from Atlanta started firing a pistol into the air. BSO identified and arrested the trainer and “other participants in the melee,” according to BSO.

Trainer Donta Williams Sr. faces multiple charges, including reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near a public street or road. The others arrested were charged with disorderly conduct or obstruction.

BSO said there were minor injuries as a result of the fight, but no one was injured by gunfire.

BSO identified the others arrested during the standoff as Alisha Tanya Wynn, Shantia Meteeia Hamilton, Latesha Monique Williams and Jevar Jarran Holliongshed.
