Crash involving two semi-trucks closes I-40E

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A crash involving two semi-trucks has closed I-40 eastbound, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred in Hickman County at mile marker 158 in McEwen near Gray Branch Road/Old Beaver Creek Road. One eastbound lane is currently open.

According to TDOT, a truck was transporting paint pigments and some of the contents spilled onto the roadway.
