Suspect wanted for recent assault

RED SPRINGS – The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a wanted suspect, according to a news release issued Tuesday.

“Jaidon Lancaster, 24, of Red Springs, is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, causing serious bodily injury,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about Lancaster is asked to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at 910-671-3170. Additionally, the sheriff’s office said it does not issue or set bond amounts. “This is done by a judicial officer, such as a judge or magistrate, pursuant to NC General Statute 15A-532. Many factors are considered in determining bond amounts,” the statement said.
