Anson ISD caretaker charged with federal child abuse crimes

An Anson ISD employee has been charged with felony child abuse, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Daril Martin Gonzales moonlighted as a school sports and cheerleading photographer and photographed middle and high school students for free.

The documents state that Gonzales “used artificial intelligence (AI) to superimpose the faces of prepubescent students onto the faces of adult subjects in sexually explicit videos.”

Gonzales admitted to prosecutors that he had viewed child pornography six hours a day for the past 20 to 25 years.
