Kearney man faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child

A Kearney man is charged with sexually assaulting a child.

Zachary Cole, 26, is charged in Buffalo County Court with first-degree sexual battery of a child.

An affidavit detailing the case has been sealed, but a complaint outlining the charges says the alleged assault occurred between Feb. 1 and June 30 and involved a child 15 years was affected.

Cole is currently lodged in the Buffalo County Jail. He was arraigned Wednesday morning in Buffalo County Court.
