The Charleston County Coroner identifies a 93-year-old woman found dead outside her home

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday identified the woman who was found dead outside her home on Sunday.

According to the coroner’s office, Helen Waugh, 93, of Charleston, was found dead outside the home in the 1700 block of Elm Road.

The cause and manner of death are unknown pending an autopsy.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death.
