A multi-vehicle accident will close I-459

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. – A multi-vehicle accident has closed all lanes on Interstate 459 near Hoover, according to ALEA Senior Trooper Vu Quang.

The accident occurred around 3:19 p.m. and is currently blocking all lanes.

Officers from ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene investigating and will provide appropriate updates.
