ATTACK on Pro-Life Free Speech Becomes PHYSICAL ATTACK on Pro-Life Students in Arizona – SFL Action

It turns out that there are people who support prenatal violence and also have no problem perpetrating violence against those who disagree with it.

Yesterday was one such occasion when a pro-life student was physically attacked for holding up pro-life signs.

On National Pro-Life Chalk Day one of the Students for American Life (SFLA) groups, Students for life at Northern Arizona University (NAU), submitted and checked the same day that Charlie Kirk, founder of the nonprofit organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA), held his “You are Being Brainwashed” tour.

This allowed Kirk and SFLA to educate brainwashed or ill-informed students about abortion extremism, including Arizona’s Prop 139, which, if enacted, would make abortion a “fundamental right” until the “moment of birth.”

So our students placed the “Vote No on Prop 139” sign about 100 feet from Kirk’s rally. One of our students asked Kirk for an explanation as to why we need to vote “no” on Prop 139, and he gave a lengthy answer speaking out against the extremism of the bill.

As the crowd began to form and the energy became more tense, a growing group of pro-choice students gathered to protest. They had signs that said “Yes to 139” and stood in the back yelling at Kirk. We refused to be intimidated, stuck with our “Vote No” signs and even passed them out among the crowd.

A TPUSA student was taking a sign when a confused female student began yelling and yelling profanities at him. As I stepped back to take a photo of them, the spanking escalated from a verbal spanking to an actual spanking. She hit him repeatedly with her shield and lunged at a passerby who was capturing the incident on camera, knocking the phone out of his hand.

This further proves what the Pro-life generation (PLG) has been saying and fighting against this for years: The overall onslaught of pro-life speech is not a figment of our imagination. It’s real and happens far too often.

As SFLA and Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins has said in the past about the inability of abortion advocates to have logical conversations: “Instead of offering logical arguments and peaceful conversations, the pro-abortion community resorted to what they do best: intimidation tactics against those who you know.” can’t or doesn’t want to defend himself. This is not the first time and it will not be the last, as our history as a movement is marked by this intense opposition. We will not allow these events to intimidate us or get in our way.”

This is not the first time SFLA and SFLAction have encountered and experienced pro-abortion aggression. Just this year, an unknown professor at Florida International University harassed one Students for life Group table on campus.
