Fox Entertainment Studios promotes Hannah Pillemer and Allison Wallach

The restructured Fox Entertainment division is taking shape as Hannah Pillemer has been named head of scripted entertainment and Allison Wallach has been named head of unscripted entertainment.

Fernando Szew, president and head of Fox Entertainment Studios, made the announcement on Wednesday morning, saying in a statement: “It is an honor to work with Hannah and Allison as we shape the future of the new Fox Entertainment Studios.” They are both incredibly talented creative leaders with strong business acumen and a global perspective who will catapult our ability to create unexpected, memorable original scripted and unscripted content that will define the Fox brand going forward.”

He continued, “I am energized and grateful to work with these incredible leaders, the teams they build and the relationships they continue to foster across the global creative community.”

Pillemer previously served as EVP of creative and production at Fox subsidiary MarVista Entertainment. She now leads all development, creative and production for Fox Entertainment Studios’ entire portfolio of scripted content, including the comedy series Animal Control starring Joel McHale and Going Dutch starring Denis Leary. In her new role, she also oversees the production pipeline of nearly 100 platform films per year, as well as drama series such as Hallmark’s “The Way Home” and “The Chicken Sisters.”

Wallach, previously Head of Global Unscripted, is now responsible for all development, creativity and production of Fox Entertainment Studios’ entire global unscripted entertainment offering, with a focus on strengthening the Fox Television Network and strengthening the studios’ business with third-party platforms worldwide. Wallach’s responsibilities include Fox Alternative Entertainment, home of “The Masked Singer” and “I Can See Your Voice”; Studio Ramsay Global, which includes Gordon Ramsay’s “Next Level Chef” and the recently announced Netflix documentaries about the chef; and TMZ, which recently released “TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy.”
