The list of celebrities named in lawsuits against Diddy

  • Sean Combs was arrested in September on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
  • The federal charges come after Diddy faced a series of lawsuits.
  • Some lawsuits include allegations against other well-known figures – but not all are listed as defendants.

The lawsuits against Sean Combs, better known as Diddy, are piling up.

On Monday, Combs was hit with a lawsuit accusing him of sexually abusing a minor at one of his famous white parties. The lawsuit was one of six new lawsuits against the hip-hop mogul – the others alleging rape and sexual assault – and is part of a wave of 120 civil lawsuits expected to be filed against him in the near future.

Combs and his lawyers have denied all allegations against him and called the six lawsuits filed this month an attempt to “generate publicity.”

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the legal process,” the attorneys said. “The truth will prevail in court: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”

Combs was already facing a dozen civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault, sexual misconduct and sex trafficking. The complaints, the first of which was filed by his former girlfriend Casandra Ventura, contain detailed allegations of rape, abuse and drug use.

In September, Combs was charged in federal court with conspiracy to commit racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

The indictment came after months of investigation – including raids on Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

“We are disappointed by the decision to pursue what we believe to be an unjustified prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, said in a statement to Business Insider following the federal indictment. “These are the actions of an innocent man who has nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

While the federal indictment only names Combs as a defendant, some of his employees and partners are described as members of the criminal enterprise he led.

The series of civil lawsuits he faced last year identified a number of particularly powerful and wealthy people in Combs’ orbit. Some are directly accused by the plaintiffs of wrongdoing — whether they witnessed the abuse and failed to stop it, or that they supplied drugs to Combs. Others – like Prince Harry, Nicki Minaj or Usher – are only mentioned in passing and are not accused of any wrongdoing.

The hip-hop mogul has been surrounded by allegations of violence for decades – sometimes also against other very famous names.

Here are the known people connected to the allegations against Combs.
