Fox promotes Hannah Pillemer and Allison Wallach to head of programming

Fox is rounding out its Fox Entertainment Studios leadership team, naming Hannah Pillemer as head of scripted entertainment and Allison Wallach as head of unscripted entertainment.

Fox Entertainment, led by Fernando Szew, underwent a restructuring earlier this year, splitting the Fox network, Fox Entertainment Studios and distribution arm Fox Entertainment Global into separate divisions.

Pillemer and Wallach – both Fox veterans – will lead programming development for the entertainment division.

Pillemer was most recently executive vice president of creativity and production at Fox’s MarVista Entertainment, while Wallach previously led Fox’s unscripted content studio.

Fox’s scripted programming includes comedy Animal Control starring Joel McHale and the upcoming series Become Dutch. The unscripted programming includes all shows in the Gordan Ramsay franchise as well as similar programs The Masked Singer And I can see your voice.

“It is an honor to work with Hannah and Allison as we shape the future of the new Fox Entertainment Studios,” Szew said in a statement. “They are both incredibly talented creative leaders with strong business acumen and a global perspective who will catapult our ability to create unexpected, memorable original scripted and unscripted content that will define the Fox brand going forward.”
