CBS’ New Mid-Season Drama ‘Watson’ Premieres –

New medical drama series Watson will premiere on CBS following the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26th.

The series with Morris Chestnut (Reasonable doubt, The resident) takes place six months after the death of John Watson’s friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty.

Watson resumes his medical career as director of a rare disease clinic. However, he soon discovers that his old life is not over yet, as he and Moriarty are about to write their own chapter in a brand new story.

Described as a medical show with a strong investigative backbone, the show features a modern take on one of history’s greatest detectives who turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.

The series also stars Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann and Rochelle Aytes.

Watson Premiering after the AFC Championship Game, Sunday, January 26, 2025 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET; 9:00-10:00 p.m., CT; 8:00-9:00 p.m., MT; 7:00 p.m 12am-8pm PT)** on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+*. **(Start time is approximately after post-game coverage.)

Watson is produced by CBS Studios. Craig Sweeny wrote the first episode and serves as showrunner and executive producer.

The show will begin airing its regular time slot beginning Sunday, February 16 (10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET/PT).
