Suspect arrested after stabbing man in Pompano Beach

A man was arrested after officials said he allegedly stabbed another man in Pompano Beach on Wednesday morning. (WPLG)

POMPANO BEACH, Fla — A suspect was arrested after Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said he stabbed a man in Pompano Beach Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 10 a.m. near the 1700 block of Blount Road.

Upon arrival, officers said they found a man with a minor laceration.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that two men were involved in an argument and one injured the other with a knife,” BSO spokeswoman Claudinne Caro said in a press release.

A Local 10 News team was on scene when investigators arrested the suspect.

No further details about the stabbing or the people involved were released.
