Green Bay entertainment venues warn against buying tickets

ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) — Entertainment venues in the Green Bay area have called a press conference to discuss what they are calling “increasing issues with purchasing tickets through secondary outlets.”

Executives from TicketStar, the Resch Center, The Weidner, the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center and the Meyer Theater plan to be on site.

They say customers buy tickets on secondary websites even when tickets are available through TicketStar, the official ticket provider for these venues. Purchasing from other sites may result in additional fees, venues warn.
