Two Injured Vehicle Accident in Darke County – Outlook for Mercer County

(10/16/24) On October 15, 2024, at approximately 5:27 p.m., Darke County officers along with Bradford Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 721 and US Route 36 East in Bradford, Ohio for an injury crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a black Ford Focus was traveling east on US 36 at State Route 721. A white Nissan Pathfinder was stopped at the stop sign on State Route 721 southbound. The driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the driver of the Ford and the two collided.
The driver of the Ford was identified as Tiffany Thompson, 42, of Troy, Ohio.

The driver of the Nissan was identified as Sonya Blevins, 54, of West Milton, Ohio. Ms Blevins was taken to Upper Valley Hospital by Bradford Rescue for suspected minor injuries.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
