According to police, a 28-year-old man was shot on Syracuse’s south side

Syracuse, NY – A 28-year-old man was shot Wednesday on Syracuse’s south side, police said.

At approximately 1:54 a.m., police responded to 210 Lincoln Ave. with a shooting call, police said. According to Onondaga County 911 dispatch, the initial call was a disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found the man had been shot in the hand, police said. The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
