1 dead, another injured in early morning crash in northwest Harris County

NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY – Authorities are investigating a fatal accident that occurred early Wednesday morning in northwest Harris County.

At 2:57 a.m., officers from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Harris County Precinct 5 responded to reports of an accident at 13300 W Little York Rd.

According to officials, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Her condition remains unknown.

As a result of the crash, W Little York Road was closed in both directions between Concord Bridge Dr and N Eldridge Parkway while authorities investigate.

The investigation is ongoing and drivers are urged to seek alternative routes.
