Amazing news for fans! BTS’s Jin and Red Velvet’s Wendy have been confirmed to collaborate. According to Korean media, the K-pop idols’ respective agencies announced that Wendy contributed to a song featured on Jin’s first solo album, “Happy.”

On October 16, Dispatch announced that the highly anticipated collaboration between Jin and Wendy had been confirmed. According to reports, both BIGHIT MUSIC and SM Entertainment announced that “Wendy has contributed to a song featured on Jin’s first solo album Happy.” The reports arrived earlier today and following confirmation from the agencies, fans are more than happy depending on the album’s release on November 15th.

The duo’s collaboration promises fantastic musical chemistry. Both have great vocal abilities and although they are different, their synergy is expected to create a unique harmony never seen before in K-Pop.

In particular, Jin has a very soft and light tenor voice with a consistent and remarkable vocal range. In his previous solo releases such as “The Astronaut” and “Super Tuna,” he has demonstrated the versatility of his vocals that can breathe life into any song.

With their vocal prowess and harmony, this collaboration will mark an iconic chapter in the field of K-Pop.

Meanwhile, Jin’s first solo album “Happy” is scheduled to be released on November 15th. Pre-release singles will be available from October 25th. The album will contain a total of six songs based on band sounds.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, Jin will express his honest thoughts on happiness on this album. He has prepared songs that will give comfort and strength to the ARMYs.

In 2022, Jin made a highly anticipated solo debut with his solo single “The Astronaut.” The fans really liked the song and increased anticipation for his album. After his discharge from the military on June 12, 2024, the BTS member began announcing the upcoming release and shared that he worked hard for it.

As the release date draws ever closer, fans are eagerly waiting to celebrate their favorite K-pop idol’s first solo album.
