Savannah Highway in Charleston was closed due to a construction vehicle accident

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Deputies are reminding Charleston drivers to seek alternate routes after a crash involving two construction vehicles Wednesday morning.

In a post to X, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said Savannah Highway was closed south of Avondale Avenue.

There was no information yet about the severity of the collision or whether anyone was injured.
