Adriana Lima was hot on the runway at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Adriana Lima prepared for her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway appearance in six years by embracing one of the season’s biggest trends: the oversized jacket.

The Brazilian model and actress chose a black leather jacket with a tie belt at the waist that reached down to her knees. Lima was one of the brand’s most prominent personalities and walked in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show for the first time in 1999. In 2000, she was officially named a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

During her 18-year career as an Angel, she modeled three Fantasy Bras – in 2008, 2010 and 2014 – making her one of the few Angels to achieve this. Her 2008 Fantasy Bra was designed by Martin Katz and featured 3,900 gemstones, including 117 white diamonds and 34 rubies.

After retiring as Angel in 2018, she returned to the brand in 2023 for a fragrance campaign with the redesigned Heavenly Eau de Parfum.

Adriana Lima’s plaid outfit consisted of a black bra and panty set, high-waisted plaid pants, and a matching long-sleeved cutout top over a shimmering bra and underwear set with criss-cross wrap detailing around her torso. The look was rounded off with a variation of the brand’s signature angel wings with a grunge effect, cracks and flowing color nuances in orange, red, pink and purple.

Lima’s second runway look was a smoking hot nightgown with a sweetheart neckline. The sheer lace ensemble featured ruffle detailing at the hem. She wore red wings with whimsical swirl details that created a cutout effect in the shimmering swirls. The look was rounded off with wrap-around strappy sandals with fringe details.

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back. The 2024 spectacle was broadcast live on Prime Video and the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels. Former Angels like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill walked the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. Cher, Tyla and Lisa from Blackpink were the musical guests of the evening.
