Nick Jonas storms off stage at Prague concert after laser scare, video goes viral

A video purportedly showing American singer Nick Jonas running off stage after a laser was pointed at him during a concert in Prague has gone viral on social media.

One of the videos posted by a user on Instagram showed Nick standing on stage when the laser was aimed at him.

The actor and singer, who is married to Indian star Priyanka Chopra, was seen alerting his security guards with a time-out gesture as he ran off the stage and left the arena.

However, his brothers Joe and Kevin remained on stage.

According to the post’s caption, security personnel identified the person who pointed the laser at Nick and removed them from the venue. The show continued later.

One fan commented on the video and wrote: “Absolutely terrifying 🙁 I’m glad he’s okay.” Another user said: “Oh my god I’m so glad they’re all okay.”

One person questioned security at the venue: “How did the guy with what was supposed to be a laser get through security?”

“Damned. I’m so glad they’re doing well! How dare they do that?” read another comment.

Nick has yet to comment on the incident. On Monday, the musician returned to social media after a two-month break.

“I took some time for social media. Until this amazing photographer took these cool pictures of me in front of this blue wall. #enjoy #imback,” he posted on his social media profiles.

The Jonas Brothers are currently on a world tour titled “The Tour,” which includes North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The tour will see the brothers perform hits from five albums from 2006.
