‘Ted Lasso’ star Hannah Waddingham admits her love life is ‘dry’ and she can’t remember her last first date

When it comes to her love life, Hannah Waddingham doesn’t hold back.

During an appearance as a guest judge on The Voice UK last week alongside Sir Tom Jones, who “Ted LassoThe 50-year-old star opened up about her “dry” love life and revealed she has a “dealbreaker” when choosing a partner.

“It’s been so long since I had my first date, I honestly can’t remember,” Waddingham, who was most recently romantically linked to her boyfriend of 10 years, Italian businessman Gianluca Cugnetto, said, according to The Sun. “I’m so busy and just a little picky.”

“I want a guy who will pick me up and say: ‘I’ve got you, I don’t care if you’ve got make-up on or not, I’m happy lying in bed with you and having Marmite.’ on toast and a glass of milk’ And just be a beautiful, positive, charismatic soul.”

Waddingham, who has a 10-year-old daughter with Cugnetto, admitted she actually has a “deal-breaker” when it comes to choosing a suitor.

“What is crucial for me? I’m going to be simple – a bad kiss,” she said. “They know nothing else works, nothing else will work.”

“But also eye contact, eye contact is key,” she added.

Although Waddingham has never been married, she said that if she were to marry, she would only do it one way.

“If I did it, I would wear a bikini on the beach – a white bikini on the beach.”

Waddingham is no stranger to speaking her mind.

Earlier this year, the British actress exchanged words with a photographer who she said made an inappropriate comment about her while posing for photos in London.

The incident occurred at the Olivier Awards, where Waddingham was hosting. A video captured by a fan and shared with Fox News Digital shows Waddingham posing for photos outside before he becomes distracted by something outside the frame.

“Oh my God, you would never say that to a man, my friend,” Waddingham said.

“Don’t be an idiot. Otherwise I’ll turn away. Don’t say, ‘Show me the legs,'” she said.
