Three dead in crash north of Houston

Three dead in a traffic accident on State Highway 17, ten miles north of Houston. The Missouri State Highway Patrol told Ozark Radio News that 23-year-old Tommy Federico of Roby lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle head-on, causing both vehicles to overturn. Federico was pronounced dead at the scene along with 25-year-old passenger Helen Drury and a five-year-old girl. Two other children were injured and flown from the scene of the accident in a medical transport aircraft.
