Teen shot dead in Miami-Dade, motive not given

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Police in Miami-Dade County are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured.

It happened Tuesday evening in the area of ​​the Cutler Manor Apartments on the 10000 block of Southwest 216th Street.

According to police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found a 17-year-old who had been shot.

The Miami-Dade Fire Department responded and took the teen to Jackson South Medical Center in stable condition, authorities said.

Police said there was no information on the subject to share and the investigation was ongoing.
