Bengals vs. Browns Prediction, Odds, Spreads, Injuries, Trends for NFL Week 7

The Cleveland Browns may be in the process of foregoing the 2024 NFL season. Not only do they refuse to bench Deshaun Watson despite him being the worst quarterback in the NFL, but they also traded their star receiver Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday afternoon.

That means the Cincinnati Bengals should have a good chance of picking up their second win in a row on Sunday against the Browns.

Let’s find out what the oddsmakers think.

Cincinnati Bengals

Tea Higgins: In four games this season, Tee Higgins has 25 receptions for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, PFF.com ranks him as the No. 8 receiver this season, two spots higher than teammate Ja’Marr Chase. For the Bengals to have any hope of making the playoffs this season, Higgins will need to continue to play a big role in this offense.

Cleveland Browns

Jerry Jeudy: Thoughts and prayers to Jerry Jeudy. There is no player on this team who has been more hurt by the team’s decisions than Jeudy. Not only will he continue to let Watson throw the ball to him, but with Cooper now in Buffalo, opposing defenses will focus on Jeudy as the only viable target.

I would recommend staying away from betting on the Browns this week. I broke it down in this week’s Road to 272 Bets:

I’m determined not to bet on the Cleveland Browns as long as Deshaun Watson is their quarterback. Although this strategy didn’t work in my favor in Week 6 against the Eagles, I’ll continue with it this week. Watson ranks 35th among quarterbacks in the NFL in adjusted EPA per game this season, with only Bryce Young doing worse. Their total offense averages just 3.9 yards per play, 0.4 fewer than the second-worst team.

Say what you will about the Bengals’ defense, but their offense will likely produce some points. They rank fourth in the league in EPA per play, and Joe Burrow should be able to do damage against a Browns secondary that ranks 19th in opponents’ EPA per dropback and opponents’ yards per pass attempt (6.8). ) is in 19th place.

I don’t think the Browns can compete in this game. I will make the Bengals win and cover.

Pick: Bengals -6.5 (-105)
