Former Pulaski Academy teacher sentenced to 14 years in prison for sex crimes against children | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

A Faulkner County Circuit Court judge on Tuesday sentenced a former Pulaski Academy teacher to 14 years in prison after he pleaded guilty earlier this month to child sex crimes, court records show.

Judge Charles Clawson sentenced Kyle Vaughn, 49, of Little Rock on Monday after he pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to Internet stalking of a child, possession of material depicting sexually explicit conduct by a child and was traveling with a minor for the purpose of engaging in unlawful sexual conduct, court records show.

Prosecutors dropped a fourth charge of sexual indecency with a child against Vaughn, court records showed.

Pulaski Academy officials have no evidence that any of Vaughn’s crimes involved students at the school, school President Rachel Deems said Tuesday in an email to the Pulaski Academy community.

Vaughn has been held in the Faulkner County Jail since Greenbrier police arrested him June 18, according to an online inmate list.
