The tragic final days of the ailing Al Pacino

Al Pacino recalled his horrific experience almost dying from COVID-19 in a new interview.

Knewz.com can reveal this Godfather The actor admitted that his health problems greatly influenced his view of death as he said he “didn’t see the light” when he thought he had succumbed to the disease.

“I did. I really did,” Pacino said of the approaching end of his life. “It was so real. And I didn’t see any light. I didn’t see anything.”

“There’s a speech in ‘Hamlet’ where he says, ‘To be or not to be.’ Do you know? And then when he talks about leaving Earth when you die, he says, “No more.” How about that?” he added.

The Scarface Star described the moment in his new memoir: Sonny Boyreleased on October 8th, and how he believed this was the right thing for him.

“Out of this world,” Pacino said of his health battle. “I mean, I was here and then I wasn’t. The nurse said my pulse had stopped. Well, I don’t think my pulse has stopped.”

Earlier this month it was revealed that the 84-year-old was finding it difficult to get back to his old self after the illness.

A source said of Pacino’s condition: “Al is doing his best now, but he’s shuffling around and can barely stand.”

“Covid really wore him down and like many people his age who were affected by it, he hasn’t been the same since.”

“But he’s happy with what he’ll leave behind – he knows he’s left a massive cinematic legacy,” the insider added.

Pacino recently said he has a “newfound perspective” on aging and is taking it in stride.

However, he plans to live out the rest of his years the only way he knows how – through work.

It was previously reported that Pacino “refused to retire” despite his significant health decline.

An insider revealed that the New York native is even looking for more work, even though he already has several projects in the pipeline.

The source said the film star believed he would die if he stopped working, although those close to him fear it would have the opposite effect.

“It’s worrying people, though, that he’s actually throwing himself into the grave,” the insider said.

Aside from his career, Pacino certainly knows that he plans to remain single for the duration of his life.

Radaronline.com reported last week that the Oscar winner was determined to die a bachelor following his split from film producer Noor Alfallah.

Pacino recently announced that the couple had parted ways, 16 months after the birth of their son Roman.

In his book, the heat Explaining why he doesn’t want to get into another relationship, Star said he “didn’t feel like it was ever right for him.”

Many fans were not surprised by this revelation since Pacino was never married.

However, he has three older children – a daughter, Julie Marie, with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and twins, a son, Anton James, and a daughter, Olivia Rose, with his ex Beverly D’Angelo.
