“Joker 2 posts historic drop at box office” – IGN The Fix: Entertainment

In today’s Fix of Entertainment News:

Joker 2 has set a new record: the biggest second week drop for a comic book film in cinema history (so far). “Joker: Folie à Deux,” as its official title is, grossed a minuscule $7 million in the U.S. this weekend, down 81% from its opening weekend’s $37.8 million. On the other hand, the indie slasher hit “Terrifier 3” was No. 1 at the domestic box office, grossing $18.2 million. Additionally, Venom: The Last Dance will mark the first live-action film appearance of Marvel villain Knull, and it won’t be the last. This may be the last Venom film with Tom Hardy (or not), but we expect to see more of Knull in the future.
