Police: Ohio man traveled to Jefferson County to sexually assault 14-year-old girl | Police reporter

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it began an investigation into a sexual assault complaint in the town of LeRay in May. It was determined that Greulich met the child on Snapchat, traveled to Jefferson County in April and May and took the victim to a hotel.

During the rides, the sheriff’s office said Greulich “violently sexually assaulted her while recording these acts.”

The sheriff’s office requested assistance from Homeland Security, and search warrants were executed at Greulich’s residence in Cleveland, Ohio, they said. According to police, officers then seized devices containing videos and images of child pornography, including that of the 14-year-old victim.

The investigation was conducted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security, the FBI, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
