Two people injured in crash involving OSHP troopers in Wyandot County.

WYANDOT Co., Ohio (WTVG) – Two people, including an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper, were injured in a crash on US 23 in Upper Sandusky Tuesday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), a 38-year-old Powell resident was traveling north on US 23 when he collided with the rear of a vehicle marked “OSHP.”

The 38-year-old was flown to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with serious injuries. The soldier was taken by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
