A woman was held at gunpoint during a home invasion in Zachary, according to police

ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) – Police in Zachary are investigating a home invasion in which a woman was held at gunpoint by two masked men.

According to police, the home invasion occurred on Tuesday, October 15, at a home on Buffalo Hallow Court in Zachary.

According to police, the two men forced their way into the house, held the victim at gunpoint, then ransacked the house and stole items.

Authorities said the female victim was uninjured.

Officers are still searching for the two men involved in the home invasion. Police said they managed to flee the scene in a stolen white Honda CRV.
