One person was injured in a shooting near a Las Cruces Applebee’s

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KVIA) — One person suffered minor injuries following a shooting next to a Las Cruces Applebee’s, according to Las Cruces Police.

The shooting happened early Tuesday morning just after midnight in the parking lot of the Applebee’s restaurant at 2501 E Lohman Ave.

According to police, a disagreement in the parking lot led to one of the people involved driving away and firing shots that hit the outside of the restaurant and one of the windows.

According to investigators, a guest was hit by shards of glass from the window while eating and was slightly injured.

Las Cruces Police say the incident remains under investigation and they are currently following up on leads.
