Minot police make a second arrest in the Oct. 6 shooting and are trying to locate the third suspect

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Minot police say they have made a second arrest in a shooting at a northwest Minot hotel earlier this month and are searching for a third suspect.

Police say they arrested 25-year-old Chance Braun of Minot on two felony charges in the Oct. 6 shooting.

On the day of the shooting, police arrested 22-year-old Deyan Luetzen. According to court documents, Luetzen suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the affidavit, police found bullet holes in the hotel’s hallways and a large amount of spent brass outside Luetzen’s room.

Investigators say they are still looking for a third person, 31-year-old Shaquille Means, who is charged with reckless endangerment.

According to a city report, Means told investigators he would turn himself in, but had not done so as of Tuesday at 3 p.m.
