Ranger driver dies in crash on State Highway 206

EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – On Monday, October 14, at 3:59 p.m., a fatal ditch collision occurred 9.9 miles from Cisco on State Highway 206.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the driver was traveling north on State Highway 206, turned onto the east side of the road and then made an excessive turn west, causing the vehicle to spin sideways on the opposite side of the road. The driver then steered back onto the road and overturned the vehicle in the ditch.

The driver was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital and pronounced dead by doctors. She was identified as 82-year-old Patricia Alldredge Pockrus.
